Ive seen Future and hes got maaad controle. I havnt seen him enough though. I hate how people just post the same type of clips of the same type of ish. I realy dont even bother watching popping clips much anymore cuz I hardly ever see anything that realy makes me go wow anymore:T Thing is whenever I come down to LA and see people like Tod, S0h, U Rick, Tabo, etc, etc U guys seem to be the only ones that can still give me that feeling. I guess what Im getting at is I want someone to say why that is....

I have my own theories but I want to hang back and see what other people say now that I initiated the question.

honestly tho, i have been very impressed by how alot of ppl are commin up so quickly...future is nasty for sure.

Its rare to see something really new, but the things thats been done before are just getting better and better. Alot of dope shit goin down these days...musicality, muscle control, etc im impressed.

honestly ive had this feeling too... but i think it has to do with the more knowledge you have..
when we first saw these styles, we were amazed and wondered how executionerz could contort their bodies and move their limbs in logical 45 n 90 degree angles to make shapes like a rubiks cube or tetris the game.. how they could throw waves through their bodies.. distort time and space, etc.. then you naturally start tryin to learn and practice.. and the mysterious secrets are slowly understood.. :( :) :( and if you practice enough to be able to do these incredible movements yourself? the less amazing it will be to watch others do the same thing you can do... :? :x (but cool to those who dont understand your powers) 8)
since everyone understands the mechanics and techniques behind this artform (even though it takes a lot of dedication to execute them), the next step is to...
forget all about an artform that you fell in love with, lifted you up, gave you a positive creative outlet, and brought you many dope people and experiences..

since everyone has the technique, the next step is to USE that to CREATE.... if you think about those that still trip you out and make you go daaaaaamn!? salah, mori, elsewhere, etc.. they are the most original, creative, unique, and out of the box dancers... because they dont limit themselves to being contained to the few "imaginary style boundaries" that the funkstyles world has laid out. they find themSELVES, and do THEM, and in the process look like nobody else because they DONT just stick to the few styles they have been conditioned to copy, but do whatever they want....

im guilty of this big time too.. but if we actually utilize these techniques which we are blessed to have passed down to us, and USE them to CREATE.. we will have gotten back to what made this artform so magical in the first place....
expressing one's SELF.. being a unique INDIVIDUAL and actually contributing to the CREATIVITY, progression, and FUTURE (respect to future tha dancer, hear he is puttin it down)... bringing something NEW and never before seen before!

dont always expect people to impress u... they are not obligated to impress you ALL the time

on ur end..u could always appreciate and encourage others
be positive...think positive...always be appreciative

have fun in dancin thats the ultimate purpose of dancin..always keep that in mind... if u try so hard to impress people...and u got ur original ultimate purpose reversed ...eventually u will not like dancin anymore..u will get sick of it...and everything will just seemed to be boring to u..cus u constantly lookin for things to impress u..but neglectin the beauty of dancin
