I *love* house! Over here in Victoria we do a somewhat watered down version of the dance (no real house scene here, it's fueled solely by raves), but it's something I've grown up doing since I first started dancing, and I've loved it ever since.

That first video got me pretty stoked...

here are some rather OLD clips. you can probably figure out which one i am in both clips

as you can see there are even some POPPERS in the background.

its really open/laid back format. i even dim the lights to add to the atmosphere

myself or some others do teach some really BASIC house ideas (thats only IF you want to learn some basics) , but never any routines! so come out, rock out. people are welcomed to come do whatever they wish (for the most part)theres some lockers locking, house dancers practicnig house, people learning, people chillin, poppers poppin, lofters loftin, etc etc. i should note tho that generally bboys (to practice bboying that is, although some come to practice house) don't come to our practice mainly because there is a seperate timeslot devoted specifically for bboying on tuesday nights.

Haha your funny man, but right too, house is dope, real dope...you asked about the global scene with poppin but not about with anything else, and man house is super crazy around the globe, as well as lockin, and various other styles like Be-Bop...seek out more of it all wherever you can, or just travel, but thats more difficult, ha. PS fun Garrett trivia: It was actually at a $FiveDollahFunk$ several years ago in the best party location in the history of LA (the infamous dance studio around the corner from soh's old house) where I first met almost all the local poppers. Todd, pandora, soh, konfusion, legend, andre, and more. It was quite the night let me tell you. I still have live recorded DJ sets from that evening, which to this day are still some of my top favorite house mixes of all time.

The video that I posted (documentary status). Specifically I meant Nicholas, but I used to see Angel and one of the other guys out at a bunch of UG house parties here in LA all the time. I dunno though, maybe they're from out of town and drive here to party. I couldn't tell ya
