I already told Josh, about the Slick Dog part. The Slick Dog comment wasnt meant to imply that i would bring him down for Sept event. Definitely in the future, esp if this situation manifests where it splits the community in half.

You seen them at the $5 battle not sure if you them, wait actually you met one of them.

Here is a quote from one of them, when Adrian and Jack did the wave routine thingy... Person A to Person B: "They should lose points for just doing that".... that pretty much sums it up.

Hee hee...well at that event, I was being poilte cos it was my first time....but lawd have mercy if I heard that ish being said...

Well, Australia is not the only place that is suffering from Brainwash...I mean imagine saying "You lose points for that..." WTF is popping a tennis match now???!!!

It just shows that these cats have no concept, no understanding about this dance. That's why I said to you bro- I don't like these contests, cos people mainly are there to pose and get an easy name...

Furthermore, popping itself is a hard dance bro and yet people use it as a throw-away term. You got fools claiming they poppers cos they can do a sloppy wave and roll their ass and say it's boogaloo. C'mon man, you and I both know that it takes practise, understanding and dedication to do this dance....sheet, my lil bro Josh was damn near crippled for two weeks after half and hour popping in Bankstown (lol!)- but see, he now understands what's involved...

To me...a battle is in a circle, in a club where the music is pumping and there's no judges there with clipboards ticking off squares. It's raw. If you wack, then people gonna tell you. That's where you get a chance to unleash yourself and BANG the u@kf out...

...now how many of these trash talking cats have been in that situation?

Shouts out to you Danis and to Josh for looking out for me whenI arrived and being good peoples. Shouts to Popping Jack and Adrian too....just keep repping hard.

One of the reasons I made this site was for this kind of ignorance. The EBs did a great job by teaching their foundation and inspiring dancers world wide, but at the same time I feel as they have over shadowed the other OGs/Styles. Most gullible followers believed word by word and they chose to lead with ignorance and thats why you still have people around the globe with that kind of wack mentality~ The scene is already starting to change so hopefully the slower kids that haven't waken up yet can pick up and get their shit straight!

I know it seems weird and maybe "unfair." But it shows the boogaloo cats they could use more than just one style. I've been in contests like this and I've beaten bboys with gainers and air flares... haha.

C'mon bro...you're waving is tight...and that's not the point Danis is making either.

As Tetris says- it's about ignorance. And more than that, to be brutal, it's about MONEY and STATUS at the end of the day when you really think about it...

The more you can make people believe what they are doing is "wrong" and that your way is right- then the more you can take from people. I mean, that TV show "so you think you (can"t) can dance" is an example. Who taught those dancers ANIMATION? Cos bwoy, I only seen one decent animator in Sydney- Danis. And yet, whoever did that crap, got a substantial amount from it, plus status, plus work....

And sadly, it's the same worldwide. I can tell you about some heads in Europe, who are absolute frauds and yet they teach locking and popping and put on big events....And people will go to their classes, pay high prices and support these crappy events- cos its ignorance.

And as someone who LOVES this art- it hurts to see this. So I also share your pain and understand your article.

That's why I got so much love for people like Slick Dog, Richie Rich, Flexy, Pakelika etc etc...cos at the end of the day, they are sharing everything with people who are keen to learn the truth. They gave you the truth plain and simple and they give it to you with no strings attached- just straight up LOVE and Passion...but people get mad, cos they realize they've been cheated for years. And as I said before, this dance takes a long time to learn..sheet, I just got back into training after 3 months bro.... and I'm hurting lol!!!!

And book the job....

Battlin...is when your...doing...a...video...for one of the top artist...in..pop culture...and they personally ..call...you...to...be...in...their...video.. No audition...and...a...trailor...on the shoot..

And some dude...is callin himself...a..style..that's roots...comes...from....me..and..my...peers..and the ones before us...because they are sayin they invented it... so...during the shoot in front of the artist.... You call this dude out...on his name and supposed style..and let him know ur..serious as @#%$....and tell'um..."lets film it...so..it can be documented...in the...video"and they clamer..under the pressure...becuase...they don't know the art...of battlin.....
And to "musicality"....

Battlin'...requires...skills....and....most important...a....mental.... approach....

Yo I started organizing this last nite. Celebration jam for my 21st b'day at Dancekool. Just music and anyone who rocks up can dance. Gonna play a mix of mostly funk (all types n electro!), sum house and some breaks. This will be an ideal time for some real battles. No set rounds or judges just gonna be dancing!
