hey I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to practice isolating the stomach/abs ? My isolation is weakest there and i'm having trouble working it out, right now I just sort of flex and relax haha

Also what are some types of body waves can a person do? I recall Tetris mentioning tidal waves and i think rolling waves, if anyone could point out clips of different kinds of body waves thatd be cool!

Much thanks!

It looks like different parts of ur body are on a track with the popper being able to control the direction of the shift, usually the upper body in different sections, almost like botting (lookz good combined) but thats my 2 centz.

This is one kind of Isolation styles/techniques (http://www.westcoastpoppin.com/video.php?id=41&catid=1) --> Umin Isolation Tutorials (http://www.westcoastpoppin.com/video.php?id=41&catid=1)

Isolation is basically moving only one portion of the body while the rest stays still. Isolating each part of your body.

"the act of isolating something; setting something apart from others"

somtimes to give the illusion of isolationing you have to actually move other body parts in the opposite direction... so maybe work on using your knees and hips to isolate your abs.. feel me?

body waves..... cobra..snaking waves bounce waves...theres tons of variations in how fast you wave..... i would reccomend just working on isolatin your waves as much as possible

read everything and its actually useful.
i do use some of those muscles in my popping.
like the back, the hard to control parts of the legs, abdominal wall, etc..
good stuff right there.
