Hey all,
This part of the forum seems to be a little bare right now, so I'll try and get things started and see if we've got any poppers hailing from Vancouver Island right now.
I've been popping on the island for about 8 years (that definitely does *NOT* mean that I dance with skill representative of that though), and have watched the popping community grow from a very small pretty much unheard of community into a .. very small pretty much unheard of community. Yah, that's right: I'm still looking for other poppers on the island to get down with.
If you or anyone you know is into popping, or wants to learn more about it - get in touch with me and let's meet up for some practice sessions. Victoria is really well adapted to busting out - we've got beautiful weather year-round (don't look out the window right now though, it's grey and drizzly), and tons of spots to get together.
I've got loads of music, a portable music player, and I'm super stoked on getting together with people to practice - I don't think we need anything more than that.
Give some shout outs if you hail from this part of BC!
