End of the year in Japan

I'm planning a trip to Japan (already got tix lol) during Nov 20th - Dec 4th and we'll be in Osaka and Tokyo during our stay. Just wondering what events are on during this time and how we would go about getting tix. Gonna try to plan around the dance events if there's any since my gf wants to go skiing but for me dance comes first...haha. Any details would be greatly appreciated. Prolly gonna take a few classes as well since there's quite a few studios listed in the dance style magazines.
There's a couple of spots listed in the other thread as well which is extremely helpful.
