i just start popping not long ago and i don't know how to hit my chest,anyone can help?=)

Look around the forum; moves guide board is particularly useful. Also check out the tutorial vids.
Barebones basics for ya; hitting is a tense/relax of muscle; flex fast and release and relax quick. work on being able to flex and relax those muscles on beat!

check this out mang hope this helps this in my mind is not a "chest hit" but a chest pop or flex or heart beat....check it out at 40secs I do the chest flex or "pop"

And if this what your looking for Look up U-min or Flattop and study them thats what i did. and you will see its alot of flexing and breath control. If this is not what your looking for then your thinking of a chest Hit witch in my mind wiggz has the best one Good luck mang

This was from another post titled "small hitting question"
it was somewhere on this first page of threads....
I had sent this to someone in a PM. They posted it in the thread...
"As for the chest hits, you're really gonna to have to connect with your body and what its telling you to get this. I'll try to break it down in steps.
Step one: can you hits (just quickly tense and relax) your pectoral muscles?
Step two: take in a deep breath. notice how your chest lifts and your stomach goes in. Now repeat that movement in your stomach and chest WITHOUT breathing. only use your muscles (not your breath) to do this.
Step three: use your muscles to squeeze your shoulder blades together, dont pull your shoulders back. Those should remain in the same place at all times (this is important for hitting angles above the shoulders WHILE using chest hits). At this point, you should feel like you're making a "V" shape between your shoulder blades (with the point on the "V" being at the spine).
Step four: as you are pushing your shoulder blades together (and your chest is moving forward) imagine you have a rope tied to the center of your chest (the sternum) and that rope is pulling straight up. With the other steps, it should look like your chest moves outwards and rotates upwards all at the same time.
Step five: add in the pectoral hit
Step six: wow people with your amazing chest hits!!!
Remember dont try to force it or jerk it. stretch your muscles so you stay safe. remember, listen to your body... if its feels like you might hurt something, scale it down, break it down, make sure you do it right and within any physical limitations you might have. (this took me about 6 months to a year before i got it like i have it now, so be patient... think of trying to do the splits... you may not be able to do them right this second, but if you keep stretching, then you'll be able to get it.)"

Ok I don't understand anything from step three on. What do you mean by the whole flex your pecs, and squeeze your shoulders and all that? If I'm doing what I think you mean nothing happens other then im flexing those muscles.
(When I chest pop I just kinda flex my abs and suck in my stomach a bit at the same time. )

I mean tense and relax those muscles. Heres something that i think a lot of noobs are missing.
When you hit/tense your abs while hitting your chest theres 2 things that happen.
1- you restrict the upwards movement of your chest.
2- you restrict the outwards movement of your chest.
thus overall you diminish the effect of your chest hits. How? First when you tense your abs and try to move your chest up what happens? It cant go as far as when you BRING YOUR STOMACH IN WITHOUT TENSING IT.
Also when you tense your abs your BACK MUSCLES ARE ALSO TENSED GIVING YOU THE LACK OF MOBILITY YOU NEED in your chest. And hey... While were at it try this:
tense your abs as much as you can then try to hit only your pecs (if you dont know where they are or what they are look it up!).
I want one of you to tell me what happens when you do this. Try it with abs tensed and without them tensed

When you tense your abs, u cant tense ur pecs as much as if it is relaxed because the tension in the myofibres makes the abs tensed but cannot use twice the energy to tense the pecs. Hence it is optimal for the relaxed energy in the muscles to tense the pecs.

aah i feel so stupid. i still dont get it. are your pecs supposed to rise or something when you flex them? cause my pecs arent nearly that big.

so a "chest hit" is what your looking for :p.. stand up strait and then bend your back and kind of scrunch your abs. you will kinda be bent down.. Then thrust your chest forward and stand strait again, try to make your shoulder blades touch each other. and at the end of that chest thrust thrust flex your pecks! now start over bye kinda scrunching your abs then thrust forward and flex pecks and abs... And just try it if its not what your looking for then sweet.. but please people im just trying to help im not trying to be the all knowing im just really trying to help :p my way is not the way most people drill, but it works for me :p good luck and werd to your mom.

they dont need to be big... as long as you can take your shirt off and see that muscle move or if you can see it move under your shirt (The pec hit isnt what gives the overall chest hit its size and appearance... so DON'T PANIC)

ok ok. I think I'm starting to kinda get the chest hit a bit.. But I still don't understand steps 4 and 5, with the shoulder blades... D:
