tim troniks, tito, drtalvatron, tetris (even tho you say you dont bot, i know you can and you got access to tabo knowledge), john doe, receipt, and anyone that can help...
i know the basics of robottin.. dimestops n isolations..
but what element is it that makes your robottin look unreal and inhuman.. like robert shields, mechanical man, dre, chadd, etc... they look sooo ROBOTIC.
ive heard tito mention briefly about "servos" and focusing on the start of the move as much as the end of a move..
which makes sense, but i dont know how to go about practicing that..
would i hit/muscle tension at the start of a movement help? is that a "servo" tito? im just not sure what that "servo" is and how to execute it..
and just any ideas on how i can make my bottin look more unreal would be helpful..

not any secret stuff ... it just makes sense...
nobody taught me anything about it.. i figured it out...
and conversated with iron matt about that... he told me mechanical man calls that servo..so with all due respect.. mechanical man coined the terms...
nothing really special..its just a click between each moves..
it can be done with dimestop or without dimestopp...
after u dimestopp..u add that click before u make ur next move.. that will define your stop better becus people actually see u ahve stop and now ur starting to move ...comin back to life from rest
or without dimestopp.. think about the classic mj robot... each move associate with a click ....and they are in sequence..there are no dimestop betweeen each move but still look robotic
why...? becus there's the clicks defined that robotic movements..
to experience it.. start with ur head...
if u softly move ur head and come to a stop ..its cool and all..but too add more variaty and mechanic feel
try to tighten ur back neck of muscle a bit / a clik before u move...
now if u get that... apply that to ur usual robot form / routine..
mix it up with servo sequence... dimestop clik move.. soft move without click but a stop.. that would gives u more robotic flavors..

DMT! haha! you makin me wanna try summa dat and have a life changing experience like that one time at band camp...
but really, there is a basic set of styles(tools) that are needed to paint the correct picture. when properly painted, you look inhuman.
tabo and i call it changing the air, the air around you seems to become distorted and visible. as though the dark hadou is being pulsed from your 7 chakra.
you weight, your speed and even the simplest of abilties seemed to be enhanced and are free from the typical laws of physics governing all matter on earth. you really do look supernatural!
one key thing i've discovered about what Andre is doing is that each tool is used properly. big movements call for big hits...when stationary, boppin hits are used to show that there is still power , but not as much as you would if you were running to a halt.
animation and claymation are used as hidden points to illustrate defined small details.
from beginning to end, you put the tools to work one after another, combinations, and you get that inhuman affect.
its hard but from what i've seen from you proto, you will get it.
peace
