at first... as an escape
..from myself, the path i was going down, drama, beef, and from conventional thinking.
popping taught me about myself... not the surface, but the fiber of who i am...
it allowed me to reach into myself and harness things that led me to where i am now.
it has been one of the major sculpting factors in my life... several years and counting.
although many of you don't know who i am or seen me dance or compete, i am very well connected to the foundation and the underground innovators of what is the modern art called "popping" most often associated with boogaloo.
do i become someone else...? i have waited long and patiently for the right moment to shake up the scene... with some things that are not new, but lost in the mainstream transition of this dance especially over the last 6 years.
my goal is to bring these styles back into the light, introduce some new ones, and pay homage to the ones who taught me.
there are dancers, such as Body Science, who take this dance to a different plateau.
i want to prove that drum and bass IS the modern popping culture.. it is the future, it is the now.
some of the moves and sequences the body is capable of are only demonstrated properly to a beat with the mathematical complexity of those produced by advance technology and computers....drum and bass
i love funk... never get me wrong... but DRUM AND BASS is the future we live in, and the only thing advancing right now is the music...
to advance the dance we must advance our comprehension of the scene, not by living in the past.
we are not content doing the same moves to the same songs until we're too old to pop anymore.
popping is going to be re-introduced to the dnb culture on a massive scale the way no one has ever seen before..
...we have a few things in the works.

Yeah man, I know your style! :) I know LJ, TIM, MIKEY and all of Body Science real well. To bad they don't come out much anymore.
