I'd say..

slick dogg is a good start,
then move to breakbeats.

when you are good at understanding the value of the neck-o-flex then experiment with drum and bass

mix and match music types for different feels and styles.

I would say anything with a simple hard clap will be a good start 8)

when your first learning and practicing new dance styles, songs with a slower beat are easier for some people to learn with... just practice to simple, steady songs with a pace you can keep up with.

after you practiced, and have your technique down...

dance to ANYTHING that moves you... from radio jams, to classical, to country, to hip hop, to jazz, to soul, to funk, to electro, to gfunk and everything in between...

ive been loving gettin down to rnb joints, and island reggae music.. tha slower kick back type tracks tho.

people of earth, no matter what your instrument....

keep on dancing.

i don't think there is such thing as "music for beginners"

I think what you mean is what are some famous tracks.

Well i started off with some good old Zapp and Roger.

Then i just started dancing to all the music i liked. As soon as i got used to the genre of music, my tastes broadened.

I dance to the music i enjoy, the more music i listen to the more music i enjoy.
