Ok, so this is a plot I have been piecing together in back of my head for a while and I figured I might as well run it by people. The characters are still in very early development as well as I have yet to name anything or anyone. The only thing I will be keeping from the main characters model is the head as I have scraped his current appearance for a more beat down organic look. The environment is comprised of greeblys from old meshes I made as well as some new ish. I finally have an idea of where I want to position things in this scene and have an old background of a giant gas planet I want to dig up for the sky. I gonna see if I cant isolate the planet and mix it wif an HDR photo.
Ok so I suppose I should start my thesis.
My story revolves around a principle, that principle is a simple law of physics. Imagine the universe as we know it functioning like a mobeus strip. Or perhaps picture an hourglass that is automatically turned over each time it runs through. Im not sure how many of u have seen it but in the new game "portal" from Valve software there is a sequence in which a portal is formed under a box causing gravity to drop the box into the portal, then an exit portal is set next to it on the ground. The box pops out the exit portal thrust upward from the inertia obtained from the initial fall. It then falls back into the portal and pops out the entrance portal. It continues to go back and forth, back in forth as physics and twisted time space creat a kinda cosmic yoyo.
Ok so lets pretend the big bang shoots matter out across the galaxy. I remember reading somewhere that scientists predict that eventually the universe will began to recede back to its origin, not in our lifetimes mind u. Well what if it recedes back, compresses and shoots out into a polar opisate dimension where it spreads into a big bang then again, recedes and returns to our original universe as another big bang etc etc.
Ok now that I explained the inspiration for this I will begin wif the plot. I wonder how many of u are really still reading this LOL
In my universe life started as a binary construct that over millennia developed into a sentient consciousness. This life form then sub-divided into 12 (really any cryptic number will do) different life forms that acted as the blueprints u might say for the evolution of different species across the universe. These 12 beings then released plumes of matter in different directions across the universe so creating a sort of flower of life.
Over melania that matter evolved into the many dif races and planets that line the universe. However one of the "pedeles" evolved into a series of galexies that gave host to a very brutal and savage form of life. These creatures I suppose could best be described as being kind of like bio monstrosities that consume everything. Think "the thing" meets tetsuo at the end of "akira" wif a lil bit of giger thrown in for over all evilness. Anyways, the current inhabitants of the universe have quarantined off this section of space and they know if this race of life forms were to ever escape it would surely mean the destruction of all life as we know it.
Meanwhile scientists have pinpointed the center of the universe however they can not enter due to unknown reasons and it has forced them to set up observation posts light years outside the coordinates.
In this universe their are very few governments left in tact as it is mostly corporate territories and colonial outposts. There have been millions of wars due to these corporate juggernauts duking it out over resources and colonial disputes. They often tap whole planets dry, left uninhabitable due to their fierce excavation of resources, that is if the planet isn't already destroyed from the many wars. Sometimes these corporations will enslave lower tech civilizations upon desire for their worlds. This is where my main character comes in.
He was long ago enslaved by the Takamura corporation along wif the rest of the young men in his tribe and forced to join their army when they established colonial rule on his home world.
My main character then went UA (Un-authorized Absence) from his Battalion when he realized they were all cannon fodder. He now makes his living as a scavenger that travels to abandoned planets to gather valuable merchandise left on these world or to gather special items requested by that of a high bidder. This is a dangerous job as many of these planets are now only inhabited by cannibalistic tribes of people formed due to a rapid technological degrade and population and resource absence after their planet was ravished, as well as mutants, aliens, and other strange monsters. Also not to mention their are many environmental hazards left due to the carnage that had taken place on these worlds.
The overall plot to my story involves an secret collective that is actually all this time been funding and arranging the many wars that have gone on. The reason why is they are actually a large scale form of ritualistic sacrifices to channel the millions of souls needed to awaken the 12 original life forms at the center of the universe. In my plot they must make one last war (sacrifices) this one larger then the rest, the equivalent of many wars. In order to do this they plan on sabotaging the quarantine zone and releasing the deadly life forms within so they can ravage the galaxy.
Once this last sacrifice has been completed the 12 elder gods of the universe will awaken and they will proceed onward to the center of the universe wif a special armada in tow to defeat the 12 gods and perform the final ritual of transforming into the original entity that will now be the means of calling all life back to its place of origin. Once this is completed everything will converge in a sort of time space dimensional limbo where it will began an assimilation process in order to make the journey through to the doppelganger universe that life has visited an unknown amount of times before. The master god is now the blueprint and guide for all existence in the new universe.
So yeah that's my story so far and I still gotta come up wif names, sub plots, side quests, other characters, etc etc etc.
Thanx for those of u that read all this Give me feedback, yeah I know its kinda evangel ion meets ff7, meets halo, meets aliens, and god knows what other sci fi ish I was inspired by but I hope to one day have this ish worked out in a more complete form, for now I just jot ideas down as they come to me and model stuff when I am inspired to. Also like I said the character is going through a complete makeover except the face so expect him to look dif when i finish.
