The site is well-constructed, aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. However, what really makes a forum-oriented site appealing and long-lasting are the people who register and then contribute and share info, thoughts, ideas, feelings, footage, and whatever in a positive manner. I expect some drama and negativity but hopefully it will be minimal.

What's missing? Well, since this is a "west coast poppin" site, I would like to see more or read more about of what's going on at the heart of the west coast poppin scene, that is, "Homeland". Any volunteer Homeland reporters out there? Please post your observations - I think it would be interesting reading, of course, footage or pics would be nice too.

The site is off to a good start.

Peace \ /

PS: I really meant to reply to an existing thread on the subject matter - feel free to move my response, if you want to.

Awesome feedback and input Liquid Toez.

We currently are planning to have some ppl do some serious reporting on events and the scene in itself. We already found one person who is down to do that for us, it is in a working progress :-)

I will personally look into more of what you had in mind, We will make it come true :-)

Thanks for the feed back, if there is any other suggestions please let me know!

Thanks!

About the "westcoast" comment, the meaning of this site "westcoastpoppin" is not the sides of east or west as in the current scene, but since Popping was a west coast dance, and this site is dedicated to the OGs and to get their knowledge and history out, that is why this site is called westcoastpoppin.com.

We are interested in the Popping scene as a whole, world wide, not just west, south, east, north, etc :)

Just to clear that up ~

Thanks again toez :)

I see the site evolving in a good direction. It's always nice seeing a site that is delicated the the popping scene. That means it more people out here that are interviewing, and requesting information from dancers. This is what this scene needs more the ever, sites that promotes the art form. You guys are doing a great job, I'm so happy to see someone from this generation put in the work to promote this scene.
