anyone attend the focus battle last night?

i wasnt able to make it but i heard from freinds that they reached thier capacity and had about 75 people waiting outside to get in..

and some of the people outside were the contestants!!!

a friend of mine was watchin some guy get into an arguement with one of the bouncers (bad idea in my opinion) and threatened to get a gun or some bullshit like that...

anyways anyone go? reviews? comments?

and so did dennis, slim boog, koncept, lobo, butterfresh, boogiewalker, dlock, preying mantis, lux, decepticon, and a buncha other people for lack of names or memory..

the battles were basically judged by the crowd but the crowd was hyped so it made it fun.. the perliminarys and first round was only one 30 second round so a lot of people were eliminated easily.. i mean it was a crowd judged battle you know?

everybdy that entered brought it, special ups to slim boog, dennis, lobo, koncept, and walker, i was feeling them!

so first round i battled slim boog
second round i battled butters from goonies
fianl round i forgot the guys name:[

and i took the final :]

it was a really fun good vibing event.

fun event i would def go again

I thought this was a great event....

House music was ill, and everyone was getting down! I liked the fact that the battle was mostly judged by the audience.

Focus was the shiiiittt....!

Man I had soo much fun. I loved the crowd, they were HELLA hype and really into it. The music was dooope to bust to as well.
The only thing that kinda sucked was the judging which was hella wierd, I dont know why Some people lost and why others won, including bboy and freestyle parts too.

Oh well it was just a small comp, but rlly tho...1 of my new favorite dancers: Toybox
That fool is the SHIT...dayum...MAD inspirational. Hella groovy, and crazy hype, makes me wana get down too! And also that young little spicy chica with the nasty hip hop flavor!!! She was killin it too and brought that sexy fire, damn!
Regardless of the comp results, we all still got down and reppd hard in the cyphers, hella fun night. GJ to Robert for winin the poppin part, he deserved it.
