i know that there is a lot of music out there for locking in general, but i was wondering what are some big favorites at battles. I've only been to a few battles now, but they tend to have similar music. can anyone help?

... ahhhhm
James Brown - I Know You Got Soul
James Brown - Licking Stick-Licking Stick
Cymande - Brothers On The Slide
Funky Buttercup - The Chosen Few
Rose Royce - Car Wash
etc.
... it have to be realy realy funky bass or guitar
and fly percussions that you can realy groove to ...
and may raving horns or strings to spot (point) on.
Just try on any old skool party funk or soul (60`s - mid. 70`s)depends to where you are batteling, states or europe) ... ?! .
Check out some Artist`s.
And please dont`t start with Disco S***, it may looks like Flaschdance or bboy locking;
i mean if you realy dont`t want to groove it`s o.k., but you`ll got problems on battels anyway ...

There's never enough Isley Bros at locking contests/battles.
You need some serious hard funky beats to get in the spirit of calling someone out and Isley's know how to throw that down. Maybe it's the drums and the bass. But they got some nasty funk in there.
But then Locking was never meant to be a "battle" dance. It was always just to groove and get down.

really? Ever tried to get funky to dark drum-&-bass? What about glitch or dubstep?
I think it's nearly impossible to get funky to those types of music, locking-style...

This is truly the battle of the Giant Retards. I haven't seen such a performance from two different species since I saw "Mating Habits of Neo-Transluscent Wilda Terriers" on the intergalactic Discovery Channel..

I know it ruins the appetite, my son is on it. But remember to eat something. Drugs effect you more harshly if you don't eat enough. Also you need to print out what you wrote here and bring it to your doc. My son was acting strange on his dose, so we ( the doc and I with some discussion) lowered it the minimum dose...and he gets along just fine now. He's been taking it for 14 years now...good physical health and it really helped him get along in society.
