well... electric boogaloo i just put down as boogaloo

slo mo is a good one... i'm adding it under techniques as "speed changes", i forgot about those..

whats bustin? crank? and I thought g-style was a crew, mentality? and if it's a style... does it go under waves? i'd rather hear from a g-style member really...

if you could add a youtube clip as well for reference... that would be great...

animating, sleepy style, master flex, walk out, warping (? not sure if that is considered to be an actual 'move' or 'style')

anyways, i want the list to be pretty simple... but for the styles that aren't as commonly heard of... if you could add a youtube clip of it as well for reference... that would be great... in fact i'll probably go do that

Cool..... "M"..... boog & electric boogaloo....are diff styles.... boogaloo is a constant boog movement .... in comparison to electric boog... is hittin the boog style.... on the 1's & 2's.... so yeah there different styles... Peace & much respects.... outie...

thats quite a list!!! I find it confusing sometimes where to start!! how many moves can one guy master!! should we boogaloo then hit some moves in between or robot then try some gliding? Or maybe a little strobin then a few waves? I think thats the problem with poppin comps sometimes as the judges all have different styles!!!
Im aiming to try to dance more and pop on the beat while hopefully chuckin in some other moves. ( I really dont know if this is the best way forward but I know I use too much robot and not enough dance, the crowd always enjoy the robot animation stuff but the judges are not so impressed!!!
Any ideas guys as its so confusing to know which direction to go in next!!!

Roo,

first off, what is your goal?

And secondly, in a veeery simplified manner it is something like this:

Now you told us there are a lot of directions. Do you really think anyone could tell you for sure which path is the best?

ha nice!!! yeah my goal is to be a really good popper but i have been so obbsessed with the robot, animation and speed changes i have no dancing ability!!! I am a 41 yr old dude, but i still love poppin, I always get a great reaction for my stuff but i feel im lacking the whole point of the dance!!! I think deep down its because of my age and not wanting to look foolish when i dance!! so i over compensate by doing hard core robot techniques, i really want to feel the funk and just let go and enjoy but i still want to be able to hold my own( not really win but be part of the scene) in comps!!! I know i can immpress the civilians with the robot type stuff but the real poppers soon see through it!!!
So I guess my goal is to learn some boogaloo or something that makes me funky!!!

Yes...

Man, I want workshop with Bishop. How many of you agree that windstyle is new separate style? I say YES.

He was in Russia about 7-8 month ago, but I couldn't go there at that time, yes he is dope and now he goes forward with his style, y may see even digitz technique from Aragorn... Maybe in June he will be in Moscow... 1 more chance for me to hit him... or I will be rich enough to go to Toulouse (France).

And that's what WindStyle means (from my old interview with Bishop, I still want to Re-edit it)

"W.I.N.D Style means: Waving In New Dimension Style. It's a little word game, also because it's about "to wind"; english verb to discribe ondulation of snake, breath movement, and so on. Windstyle sets on 3 principal concepts: 1 of shape, 1 of movement, and 1 of energy
Once you get those, you can fill this dance with your personality.
I started dancing by "Smurfing", then poppin', then contemporary dance etc. Today i practice DANCE with a big D, without limits between vocabularies.
I love "animation", visual effects like magician tricks. Windstyle is a kind of i think."
