Idk, but I havent seen Shab at a single club, studio, jam, ANYWHERE in LA in the 7 years Ive been back in LA. He was nonexistant...contributing NOTHING to the scene. Unless it was TRYING to make money off of his "Shway" video, or his epic failure of a video "Krump vs BreakDancing".

On the real, Shab is a MAJOR sellout. The definition of a sellout...as soon as Breakin' 2 came out, this fool forgot he was part of one of the greatest dance groups of all time and started claiming everything...mad industry. He still thinks he some big movie star.

Now he tries to come back on the scene and shit on the very people that were keeping the dance alive that he once pioneered and loved. Its all about money to this guy.

guys i read every post now and im wondering that Shabb is doin still the same shit he done 2 years ago here in europe.I was about to book him but he tryed to betray me and my team.(Roots Event)

okey, yesterday i backed from the PUF BLACK STREET with Shabbado, and... it's look like that:

1. He is a good teacher, him workshops was great, there was 100 people and he came to everyone and say what we was doing wrong... but... he is promoting his own style of locking. Locking 5.0. He was telling: This is LOCK, 45 degree this hand, leg should be 50 deegree to the hand, your hips shoud be like this, bla bla bla, and if you are doing it different ITS WRONG! This is about locking.
I was also on Waacking. He sad that 95% people on the world can't dance waaacking. Real waacking (shway) comes from the hips, should not use so much hands, and should be more acting different characters.

When the workshops was starting, he came to us like a god with the music from the back stage with tamburine, and he start to shaking hands for the young girls on the first line who never dance before locking/waacking (you know how it is on workshops)

2. Qualifying round he dont even look at us, he was SLEEPING! and talk with Lockadelic. For good sake if he is a judge, he should be more interested with what we was doing :/

3. Now, the conference on the next day :D He told us a lot of stuff, like there is no funkstyles. Locking it isn't belong to funkstyles. Because there is no FUNK music, there is SOUL. When he was talking about dance, and his privet life, and his father who " wasn't act like his father " he started to cry, and saying "this is really emotional for me, please wait, a minute"

BUDDHA STRETCH vs Shabbadoo :D yeah, he was trying to explain us what it is about. Those are his words " I LIKE THIS BOY, HE IS REALLY FUNNY BOY, BUT HE CAN'T DANCE THE LOCKING. I LAUGH WITH HIM MANY TIMES, AND I REALLY LIKE THIS BOY " sorry, Buddha, but he don't even explain WHY you can't lock. In his opinion you can't dance because ... you CAN'T.
He also was saying history of the lockers. He sad that they never like each other, it was just a showcase formation, and the Tony gogo never was in The Lockers, he was alternate when someone cant dance. I felt that tony gogo and shabbadoo are not the best friends. He sad that he is walking joke(not at the conference, but on the backstage when i was talking with him, i was suprised that he didn't want money for this). Yeah, and then on the end he told us that we are paying for him, for his teaching and judging, and we should expect from him 100% commitment.

Still it's not all. When i asked about Krumping vs Breaking, exacly i asked him what he want to prove with compare those such a different style of dancing. His answer was simple:" I want to show the bigger commitment to dance. " kk, whatever.

3. Finally, the battles! Yeah, everyone of us was concern how he will judge, we was thinking, that HE WILL GIVE HIS 100%. He did it? of course he did not. in 80% of the battles he don't even rise the hand. He was sitting like he would not be there. In bboying, he was judging like Bboy Kleju, every battle. still not all ;p At the semi finels, he was talking with someone all the battle (i so this on my own eyes because i was on the stage, i rooting my friend Alkowy Funkowy) when the battle was ended, he give his vote alfter maybe 10 sec (they were standing like stupid without music ) and he turn to the front with the shock, turn head left, then right, and hi show his vote ... WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?!?!?!?!?!?

all the contest he had fucked up to what we are doing :/

Before the finals we were waiting for the showcase... Loacdelic has some sort of problem with her back, and he did not dance.

When was Shabbadoo turn :D the translator come to the stage canter and he sad: " I think we dont have to present the shabbadoo, and how he dance. Everybody know him. " <-- WTF? Of course, he is to big star for showing his SKILLS. Do you thing Wiggz would ever do it? I think he would kick his ass for doing something like this.

Laugh we might laugh, but this guy doesn't even realize the damage he's doing to the community in the world. I'm Only going by those two videos i just watched. Nothing more and nothing less. But after watching both videos and laughing and saying damn what a dick i thought i was an ass but this dude takes the cake. I want to know though does he try to teach anyone that he says is god awful? He makes a lot of sense to me even though its super asshole. I mean he is good at talking but i dont know what is right or wrong with locking or whacking so who knows if he speaks the truth. It just sounds like it would make sense about if you are not doing locking or whacking how can he judge it and many other things he says. Especially talking about how he was talking about using other people to make them seem right and having a 1000 or whatever people think one thing and supporting a system/a lie. That is going on in a lot of things not just locking and that is so true. I liked how he says what he feels straight to the people face. Skeeter Rabbit used to get a lot of shit about being an A$$hole to people as well. If he Isn't looking at what you are doing he just probably doesn't like it. Should tell him this is what i was taught if its wrong help me fix it. You cant expect him to tickle your balls the whole time just because you are sensitive. He does show a good demonstration of what people are doing that i even seen people doing in person and then shows what it should look like. What he was doing looks a lot better then what i seen a lot of people doing. I think Bryan Green and them are really good but i dont know anything about wacking but looks cool when he and others like him do it. I know I'm kind of weighing in late on this subject but here are some funny things/anecdotes/experiences I've heard about/had with Shab or people associated with Shab...

Back before the Skeeter Rabbit Homeland Battle in July 2006, I had Kid Boogie and Suga Pop in my car, we were going to the store to get some drinks or snacks or something, and I remember asking Pop about Shab. To quote Pop: "Shabbadoo is a snake--the only person Shabbadoo cares about is Shabbadoo. He'll care about you if you pay him to..."

Also, about a year or so ago (Summer 2009), Shab started to publicize his "Shway 5.0 Wacking" stuff, and he did it by getting some of the most unflattering pictures of some of my homegirls from Imperial House Waackers (particularly Kumari, I believe) and publishing them as the "sad state of wacking" or something... It was HELLA shady...

Also, I agree with J-Rock: I've now been in the dance scene here in Southern California for over 5 years and I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER SEEN Shabbadoo at ANY MAJOR (nor minor for that matter) DANCE EVENTS, period.

He's only concerned about conserving his own image and promoting his own self to make $$$.

I think with street dance in general, whenever you have someone saying, "Oh, you're doing it the wrong way; I can show you the right/true way", watch and see if they are also charging $$$ for it. I think dancers that tout the "true" or "right" ways of doing a dance are usually just trying to corner the market so that they can make some money.

Caveat Emptor... which is latin for "Buyer Beware!"

However, there are some people that are out there (myself, my homegirl Jimini, Kaistar, Richie Rich and a few others) and some places out there (like Homeland, Culture Shock and Groove Night) that are willing to TEACH YOU FOR FREE! They GIVE the knowledge away. And then, there are others that will teach you for a fee, but at least they're not going to make it sound like they are the "messiahs" of locking! Much respect to anyone who teaches for the love or at least recognizes that their way is not necessarily "the only way" to lock/pop/break/waack/dance, period!

At first after reading everybody's posts, I felt angry at the dude.

Then after watching the videos, I felt sorry for him.

There is no way someone with that much hate is ever going to be happy with themselves, and the fact that he got in a position where he can be whatever way he wants with out ever having to learn how to be humble because of his "high status" just means he is going to die a lonely and bitter person.

Edit: Which is kind of extremely ironic to me, being that I used to be extremely hateful and critical. I came from a way competitive background, I was trained in other sports while growing up to be the best. It made me distance myself from other people in order to surpass them, dancing kinda turned that all around. It's about the community, celebrating the music together, and sharing what you know and appreciate with each other.

I'm not quite sure how this dude never got that message in all his years.

There are a lot of creams and ointments out there that claim to remove stretch marks. The best way to fight stretch marks is to increase your skins flexibility before your stretch marks start appearing by using a topical cream on the area before the skin starts to show stretch marks.
