Whenevr I try, it hurts my neck alot, like a bones in the way..
First of all, what do you mean by head isolation? What exactly do you try to do?
Second, it's all in the neck muscles, they are hard to train for popping and you need to be careful, too. It takes at least some weeks to train for somewhat basic level.

I mean, like, moving my head side to side without moving my body or shoulders with it.

Okay, something that helped me with isoing the head when i was just beginning was pulling the shoulders up.
What i mean by this is: quite literally, shrug your shoulders up. From there, try isoing the head left and right, and also forward and back.
Let me know if that helps. It should, and in time, you won't have to automatically shrug your shoulders up.

Think of it as a stretch. Something that will loosen up the more you do it. Don't force it. It helps to have a mirror so that you can make sure you aren't tilting your head or moving your torso. Try isolating your head in all directions (side-to-side, front-back) holding it for a few seconds in each position before returning to neutral. Then try isolating your chest in the same way without moving your head -these isolations will target the same muscles in neck.
And just keep practicing
