Old School vs. New School

I've been popping for a few years but i haven't really taken the time to read up on my history til recently. I was wondering if there was an inherent difference between the two? Like is there a certain element that old school poppers had that new school poppers don't have or vica versa? Or did old school poppers emphasize one thing while new school poppers emphasized another?

This is typical stereotyping and to broad. It's more about the individual than if they are old school or new school.

Granted the new school cats will never get to live through what we did but most of the old school aint living through what some of the new school are doing now either.
