First of all, after all the hype and hoopla...
Ken Shamrock claims an injury and backs out of the fight...
So time for a hometown hero to step up!!! I think it was in ft lauderdale Fl...
Seth Petruzelli- a fill in for shamrock- TKO'd Kimbo in 14 seconds...
Kimbo rushed him, Petruzelli backed against the cage, had a foot up on Kimbo and as Kimbo leaned in to try and punch Pet., Pet. caught him with a well placed JAB!!
Kimbo fell face first and Pet. just jumped on him and started punching. Kimbo rolled over but was incapable of protecting himself...
The ref stepped in and called the fight right there...
After a minute they showed Kimbo standing with the ref and Kimbo was GONE.
The "hardest" mo fo got knocked the FUCK OUT WITH A JAB!!! haha.
Elite XC is toast... leave MMA to the REAL fighters.

Man, that was embarrassing. I felt sorry for Seth though cause I heard some of the crowd booing him (I think) at his home town and everyone had those Kimbo cards.

I am so disappointed about this fight. Before I could blink the shit was over. I actually had to wait for the slow mo replay to actually see what took place. I think Kimbo could have continued but the ref was on top of Kimbo while he was trying to get up. Yeah, Pet caught Kimbo witta cool one though. Im still a Kimbo fan fuck the haters.

LOL, the ref could not stop it this time and GIVE kimbo the fight like that last time Elite XC pulled this crap. Kimbo, a great street fighter, is a TERRIBLE MMA fighter, the jab rocked him enough to take him off his feel, then hammer fisted the side of his head like pinata that feel on the floor.
I even said last time it was a FARCE, just a money making expo, not a REAL MMA event. Can you imagine if it was Shamrock in there? Or better yet one of todays TOP contenders? Kimbo couldn't last 2 seconds in the UFC or WEC with their top heavyweights, yet alone one of the many HDNET associated leagues.
Kimbo needs to stay on the streets, fight cats that are NOT TRAINED professionally, because when you lose your composure for just a split second in a cage and you don't have the know how or experience to recover?
Too many REAL MMA fighters have amazing records and can never get the spot light Kimbo got, lets face it ya'll, it was all HYPE!

Come on...The reason the ref stopped it:
Kimbo wasn't protecting himself after he went down.
That's BASIC MMA training. If he chose not to protect himself, that's his fault, cuz automatically the ref will stop a fight for the safety of the guy gettin creamed. But "I honestly think Kimbo didnt know where he was and couldnt protect himself.
Straight up... he lost a clean fight.

EXACTLY!!! i seen fixed fights before, that fight was not fixed. EliteXC was relying on kimbo to keep the organization ratings going, they did pay him a bonus to fight petruzelli, but they never said how much & i dont think it was enough to have himself look like a chump, he knew deep inside he wouldnt hang wit da real trained athletes, but he was stunned too soon...but fuck!!!petruzzeli is not even heavyweight, he's light heavyweight, but give kimbo credit stepin into uh cage...so after the loss, he took it like a real man & just thought of partyin it up!! any bad ass street brawler will get their asses handed to them in a cage with a real trained athlete, IT WAS TO PREDICTALBE!!! kIMBO knows no organization is goin to want him, especially the UFC...

Ok Dawg, they begged Petruzelli NOT to take him on the ground, hahaha, they paid him extra to stand with Kimbo, they were trying to FIX THE FIGHT IN KIMBO's FAVOR and STILL got knocked the fuck out.

Fight promoters have always offered different incentives for fights. Whether its a ko bonus or going the distance. And them offering petruzelli a ko bonus means they wanted him to go toe to toe with a slugger. Cbs knows kimbo isnt the best fighter and they did what they thought was their best option in protecting their investment. If they did any research in fighting and scouted their talent they would have known this no namer would have taken him. Now theyre gonna get ken shamrock to get up there and lose.
