Hey, ive been popping for 3-4 months maybe and ive just been focusing on learning armwaves, body waves, hits, gliding, dimestopping, roboting, isolations and strobing. Ive also been practicing on walkouts and such..

Ive got the waves and hits down pretty good and the rest i can do kind of decent i guess. Some things better than others

The thing is, that when it all comes around i have no idea, what so ever how to put it all together into a dance without having to stop like 400 million times between the different moves.. i rly need some help here. what can i do to practice this?

I also need help on how to improve my roboting and isolations.. My dimestops are pretty good but i just run out of ideas or positions pretty fast i guess. It feels like im just repeating everything over and over again.
I have been trying to do a shitload of different angles etc etc but im just getting nowhere. same with isolations. i can kind of isolate every part of my body but after like 20 sec im just out of ideas hah...and i dunt even know where to start with my footwork..

A lot of questions but it would be awesome if u could help me!

MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

umm since someone's gonna say it, i think i might as well do it.
if you think any of your moves are "pretty good," you're most likely wrong.
you can always get better, and it is HIGHLY unlikely that your waves and hits are up to par with more experienced poppers in just 3-4 months.

now, in answering your actual question, just practice some transitions. how? come up with your own transitions. the more you practice, the better you're gonna get at putting pieces together. but try not to build a habit of doing the same thing over and over again. i have that problem and it's a bitch to fix.

Okay, thanks..

Well, of course i realize that my hits and waves probably sux when u compare it to others.. what i ment is that my waves and hits are atleast starting to look a bit like they should do..

I dont even know where to start when it comes to transitions. To be honest i barely know what a transition is.. can someone explain to me what a transition is, what it can look like and how to come up with one?:)

what i do is i just keep watching videos... thatll give u an idea of what to do and how to dance for a long time... and how to transition and all of that other stuff. just monitor their movements and ye...

To be honest, I think the best way to keep going is to just feel the music, if you really just have been practicing that stuff, when you just feel the music and dance without thinking, it all falls together. (Might be sloppy at first, but really helps with transitions and getting along)

Make a video of yourself dancing, watch it, think of what you can do better, and try it out.
