I don't post much, but I figured I'd share my latest freestyle.. mostly waves, some pops, and glides. On the journey to become a better dancer!

I'll accept all constructive criticism, and or hate. Everyone has their own opinion, so I hope this video is worth the 2 mins lol.

Nice control. I'm not one to comment just good job so I'll give you some advice on making your waves better.

1. Travel. You were standing in the same place for most of the video when you were focused on waving. It's still a dance, take the same approach you would and move around. Travel with/ or to your waves to add contrast.

2. Levels. You bend over but it's not really a level change because your body is essentially in the same position. Vary it up with bends/ weight shifts in different directions as well as staying at a level and using a wave to bring you in or out of where you currently are. Just standing up takes away from all the work you did while at the level.

3. Story. Waving is a style that NEEDS a story. All good wavers are really just people who can carry on an idea and fluidly change or alter their thoughts. I can see where each one of your ideas stops and ends. Try and hide those so it's just one big story from start to finish. In a way you're flipping between books. Each was a good story but they aren't related.

4. Angles. I'm not sure if that's the correct word for it but most of your waves are in a normal standing position. Wave into and out of twistos. This is a personal preference of mine honestly but I think you'll find that this will make your motions more three dimensional. You had a few but mostly you were working on a 2 d plane and you just shifted on the Z axis to open up the other side of the 2nd demension instead of really using Z with X and Y.

All in all I'm just obsessed with waves so I'm overly critical. You got skills mayne. Just wanna see you use them fully.
