Sup Cherry popper, lol at the name, hey bro, try this....

extend your arms all the way out, sholders and arms on the same level like a "T" with the top " - " meaning your shoulders and arms and the " I " meaning your body.

use the fingers more, when you start the wave, point fingers up and then scoop down, like when you put your hand out of the window of a moving car.

Change the speed of your arm wave, this is good practice. start slow and each one go a bit faster for example. Also change the SIZE of it, go from a small wave like a microwave (really small exaggerations) to big waves (dig big like your about to dive in water). Make sure your shoulders adjust to each one.

Work on shoulder movement, first just left side up while right side is down, then reverse them like ^O- then -O^ if you can see the transitions. Also, rotate them too to change things up

--O-- ^-O-- -^O-- --O^- --O-^ --O--

try not to tilt your head too much, keep it isolated at first, then add it in later when you get it down more.

remember when your practicing to keep your arms extended as far out as you can, this helps you see what part of the wave you need to work on, also slowing them down helps you to get them smoother.

Keep it up!

Sup bro, nice feel man, good ear, good technique...

You fo sho got to clean some things up, but I like where your going.

Clean up your hits, footwork at the beginning, and clean up those arms like at 18 second mark, try not to make them that flimsy. The waving at around 35 second mark, don't rush it, your skipping some parts by doing that.

Nice move starting at 45 to 50 second mark, work with it more, but switch it up when you do, I like the shoulder drops, take your time more with them

Clean up your foot pivots at like the ones at 58 second mark and the arm waves that follow that. You seem to rush yourself when you wave, slow them down, feel them more.

Nice technique at 1:04 to 1:06, nice slow mo feel

Again waves all around the 1:20 are rushed. Make a clip of you only waving next time, lets work out that first since I know that the best. Even though you slow them down around 1:30, they still lose the wavey illusion.

starting at 3:33 was nice, I like when you mess around with that, vibration like motions coming to a stop/hit at the clap/kick.

Nice keep cleaning up ways of going to the ground, also work on your balance when on when leg. You go through a lot of motions, but I would simplify it down to get them much cleaner first. Especially your hand and arm waves, you can achieve so much more of an illusion if you took your time more with them. Same goes for you body waves.

I see you have some tuts too, again, you go through them too fast, when dancing these styles, don't treat them only as moves, get more graceful with it and stay within each style before going to the next, that way you get in the zone for each style.

Try making a shorter video next time, you do repeat many things, its easier to help out with lets say a 2 minute clip.

Cleaning up your hits, stops, waves, and footwork will help you out a lot.

Make another clip around 2 to 3 minutes max and work on that. Lets take it one step at a time, you have good energy, a good feel, good ear, now its time to make them blend together well.

Nice bro, thanks for sharing.

"Groet van Los Angeles" Whahaha, that's what's up

Just got back from visiting a (Greek) friend in Vancouver (Canada) and your reply caught me by surprise since I forgot about posting this video. Thanks for the feedback Waveo I looove getting tips on stuff to work on (and also hearing what's already going well of course )

I agree with what you said. Already had this video online, so I just posted it to see what you're reaction was. I'll post a shorter when next time.

Default My first video

Hi

Would love some comments. This is virtually pure waving, a few hits. Only been taking popping seriously the last 3 months.

Have posted the video elsewhere before I saw this thread so will remove from there

Please let me know the good and bad points and any pointers. Thanks

Trilbz
