NEW YORK pop shop sesions - Weekly

Just a heads up to anyone in the New York Area, Dementia runs the pop shop in NY every saturday. Alot of skilled dancers come through and practice at his spot, come check em out!

But sometimes it changes, depending on their availability for the timeslot.

Usually its around 6 -8, or 7 -9pm on saturdays

Cost is usually ~5 dollars

Starting Thursday 8/16, I will begin teaching class from 7:30pm - 9pm in NYC.

I will be teaching all styles such as popping, boog, tutting, waving ...

Dementia, I would love to take a class with you while I am in NYC 9-6 to 9-11! Unfortunately I arrive Thurs. evening about the time class starts and leave Tues. afternoon. If you are available any time outside of the class time while I am there I am willing to pay for another arrangement. Please let me know if this is possible. UPDATEEE! From Dementia:
For those that don't know I have had subs teaching my class for the past several months... this month (August 200 Spex will be subbing for me. However starting in September I will be returning to teach at a new time.

I will be teaching all styles such as popping, boog, tutting, waving ...

hey homie! i was at it about 2 months ago and its still kickin. I dnt think dementia holds it down anymore cuz he had a baby but its still def going on and jedinice holds it down 95% sure.

word, every saturday at 5PM. and afterwards at 7PM is a hip hop and house dance session hosted by Future Ninja. except sat the 18th cuz the studio is closed.

Does anyone teach locking at these sessions or is it just popping?

They don't really teach at the popshop, its just like a big open session for poppers, but sometimes when the music gets real funky people start locking to a few songs.

Try and stop by on saturdays

For classes Jazzy J teaches at Peridance, Spex teaches at Broadway Dance Center, and I think buddha stretch teaches locking too out of Steps on Broadway.
