To this day, same families, which had economic and political power of America in the early XX century, continue to hold this power, not lost anything and even almost no wasted in their slender ranks. For example, lets see a short list of some well-known structures of these families. Rockefeller, along with Morgan, Kuns and Loebs control financial conglomerate Citigroup, which among others includes Citibank and investment bank Solomon Snith Barney. Ancient oil monopoly Rockefeller Standard Oil turned into Exxon, then merged with Mobil; moreover, they have a long list of electrical, engineering and insurance companies, among which are American Telephone & Telegraph (AT & T), International Business Machines (IBM) and McDonnell Douglas (not so long ago became a unit of Boeing).
