Start of auditions for Andhra Street Dance Battle; Grand Final at Vizag

For all the budding Vizag dancers, here’s a dance battle you can’t miss. The Andhra Street Dance Battle, a dance competition organized by Power Media Event Management, for dancers of all ages, has started. This event sees participants from all over Andhra Pradesh and even other states. Auditions started virtually on Monday October 4, 2021 and will run until October 30, 2021. Those interested can register and submit their dance videos. The judges will then rate each dance performance and choose their 10 finalists. This event will be honored by many eminent personalities such as Ministers from Andhra Pradesh, MPs, Bigg Boss personalities and Telugu Film Industry (TFI) choreographers.

Who can all take part in this dance battle?

People of all ages can participate in this contest. There are two categories of solo dance: juniors and seniors. Dancers can also participate as a team in this battle. Each participant must submit a one-minute audition video of their dance performance in which they dance in front of a clean backdrop.

Depending on the category in which the dancers participate, they will be required to pay a nominal registration fee. In the solo category the entry fee is Rs. 500. In the team category the entry fee is Rs. 1,500. Apart from that there is an additional crazy costume show in which the Dancers can register for a fee of Rs. 500.

When is the final?

The final of the Andhra Street Dance Battle will take place on December 26, 2021. The venue for the final of this dance battle is the famous Gurajada Kalakshetram auditorium in Vizag. Only 20 of the participants will be selected for the final of this dance battle, composed of 10 solo performers and 10 teams. The final judge will be a popular Tollywood choreographer.

What do participants reserve?

Besides having the opportunity to show off their dancing skills on a large scale, participants will also have the chance to win exciting cash prizes.

The winners of the junior solo and senior solo categories will receive a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. The winner in the teams category will receive a cash prize of Rs. 50,000. The runner-up in this category will receive Rs. 25,000 as a prize in silver.
